The Convent Gallery is one of those places you will remember forever. It's not just a major tourist attraction in Daylesford, but a Top 10 Wedding Venue in Australia. Being on the recommended vendor's lists at this spectacular venue is truly such a privilege.

The Convent Gallery is a 19th Century privately owned building lovingly restored and maintained, and is a treasured icon in Daylesford and in Victoria. It has a bustling cafe, gift shop, a maze of rooms and hallways full of gorgeous art pieces, the ornate Chapel, the Alter Bar, generous function spaces and endless gardens.

Whenever I visit the Convent Gallery, I find myself walking slower, soaking in more, and feeling more relaxed. It's like stepping back in time into the Italian countryside. Being able to work here capturing weddings is such a gift in my life.

I have been working with the team at The Convent Gallery for a decade, having shot many weddings within these grounds and walls. So many beautiful celebrations and moments preserved forever in my clients' wedding galleries.

The owner Tina is a shining light and she's almost always at each wedding I photograph with the same joy on her face with every unique wedding they hold there. With Marija at the helm for their weddings team, she is the master of event management and it's always a pleasure to watch her work her magic at every event.

At The Convent Gallery wedding photography is a dream - every inch of the property is full of possibilities. Pockets of light flood through windows, down the hallways, and drench the hillside overlooking Daylesford in the evenings for the most divine golden hour and sunset shots. The light in this region is every photographer's dream, I often wonder whether that is why so many artists live and visit Daylesford.

The endless views over Daylesford, the peeling paint on the infirmary walls, the arches and ornate doorways at every turn, the mood and romance created not only in the light but also in the shadows... it's where I shine the brightest with my cameras in hand.

This iconic stylish heritage venue provides a true destination experience for everyone who visits. I cannot think of a more decadent venue to get married or to hold a special celebration.
