Daylesford Wedding Photographer

There are days that I get to photograph gorgeous couple's weddings, when all the stars align, the magic just naturally happens and I think to myself - I could do this forever. This day, with Ami + Joe was one of those days. All the key components of the day were perfectly combined, to make my photographic dreams come true for this wedding gallery. The Venue, the couple, the dress, the suit, the tribe, and most importantly the light - made this gallery one to remember for me.

When I received this enquiry through via my website from the Groom, I was already intrigued and totally invested. Having shot previously at the Mineral Springs Hotel, I already knew all the nooks and corners that held secret light pockets and I knew that no matter what the weather did on the day we would be able to create spectacular images here.
Villa Parma which is the separate on site Tuscan style villa that sleeps 4 couples oozes charm and character, and it's old world charm and romance aesthetic blends beautifully with my photographic vintage glamour vibes. It is my new favourite getting ready location for brides and grooms to have their portraits taken, prior to and after they are married.

A classy black tie event, with the wedding held in the back manicured Italian style garden of the Mineral Springs Hotel amongst the tall Cyprus trees, you can't help but feel transported to another time and place. With live acoustic music echoing through the gardens as Ami walked in, there were tears and smiles as we were all enveloped in the atmosphere and warmth of a winter afternoon in Hepburn, in the Daylesford Region.
Love and light surrounded us all afternoon, as this gorgeous couple made their promises in front of their closest tribe, I felt lucky and privileged to be capturing their love story, and to do their glorious wedding justice delivering them with incredible images from start to finish.
The elegant spaces inside and out are a photographer's delight at this venue, and the new team at the Mineral Springs Hotel (formerly Peppers) certainly went over and above to deliver an exceptional service to these clients and their guests.
If you are looking for a venue that evokes romance, sophistication, ambience, European elegance and charm - look no further than the Mineral Springs Hotel. Your guests can stay on site, and you don't need to leave the premises to go anywhere for your photo session.
A wedding filled with love and connection, and so much warmth on this winters day in August, is one I will never forget.
Anyone looking at booking this as a wedding venue - don't hesitate. And check me out if you love images like these.
With love and light, Mel P. x
